Changes to the cleaning policy
At Winterton Chalets we strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
We use outside cleaning contractors who follow the cleaning practices recommended by Public Health England for cleaning in a non healthcare situation.

Potential Hazards
- Transmission of virus between guests or between guests and contractors (cleaning companies
- Contamination of the site by guests who are asymptomatic or who develop symptoms whilst staying at Winterton Valley
- Other guests on site or subsequent bookings especially those who are elderly or have underlying health conditions
- Cleaning and maintenance contractors and their immediate families
- The local public
- Guests showing signs of Covid 19 whilst staying at Winterton Chalets are required to go for a test at the nearest testing centre. The results of this test must be shown to Koryn Hudson the owner of Winterton Chalets. If the test is positive then the guest must immediately leave if this is reasonably possible. If for any reason this is not possible, and self isolation is required to take place at Winterton chalets, then all fees for all the bookings affected by this self isolation will be borne by the guest.
- Anyone who exhibiting symptoms or believe they may have come into contact with the virus up to 14days prior to their booking MUST follow the Government instruction to self isolate and follow NHS guidelines, therefore they should not arrive on site.
- Contractors who are exhibiting symptoms or who have reason to believe they have been in contact with the virus within the previous 14 days should not come onto siite and should follow NHS guidelines.
- We will ask guest to follow social distancing guidelines.
- We will provide additional cleaning materials for guests.
Changes to the cleaning policy
At Winterton Chalets we strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
We use outside cleaning contractors who follow the cleaning practices recommended by Public Health England for cleaning in a non healthcare situation.
- To protect the cleaning team, we will ask guests to remove the mattress protector provided and the bath mat and put them in the bin bag provided when guests vacate the chalet.
- We ask guests to empty all bins and waste and place in tie bags into the external bins.
- All waste be double bagged.
- All non essential items have been removed from the chalets in order to efficiently clean.
- Amend our check in and check out times. Check in is now 5pm and a 9.30 departure on your last day.
